Common Themes in Statements
While a few people have very individual and unique reasons for taking this class the majority of people are taking it for the same couple of reasons. Some people, such as , , and , are taking this class because they need it to graduate and have heard that it is an interesting class. Others such as, and , are interested in how media and the spread of technology have impacted humanity and society. Similarly there are those that are interest in how media has changed and how it is continuing to change, they include and .
Common Themes in Media
When looking through what forms of media everyone many people, including , , and put down that they use a lot of different social media platforms including snap chat, Facebook, and Instagram. Almost everyone, such as and , used some kind of video streaming service like Netflix or Hulu, and others, such as and , also stream audio media from places like Spotify. There were also quite a few that listed video games such as . Everyone also listed using smartphones.
